Person with SCI may need home health care services after injury. Home health care includes nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and personal care aide. Check with your insurance company to see if they would pay for the home health care. The length of the health care depends on the type of service you need.

Length of Stay - How is it Determined?

The transition home can be filled with questions. Some are technical (e.g, what outpatient services are available?) and some are social and/or emotional (e.g., how do I manage everything by myself?).
